Welcome Emmanuel Radio Listeners

For the past 13 years, Ray Lauring and his family – the founders of Emmanuel Radio – brought great Catholic programming to the Worcester region.

With an eye on the future, the founders have determined that it is in the best interest of the station to merge WNEB 1230 AM and WESO 970AM with The Station of the Cross Catholic Media Network.

We are excited to begin broadcasting on WNEB 1230 AM and WESO 970AM, and we look forward to providing you with great Catholic programming.

We’re confident you’ll find our programs inspiring, helping you to live the Catholic Faith and grow closer to God.

I want to thank Ray Lauring and his family, and Cindy Dorsey, for their amazing work building these great stations, and for entrusting us with the vital mission of building upon the foundation they laid.

We will always be dedicated and committed to delivering the very best in Catholic programming.

God bless you and your family!

Jim Wright, President, The Station of the Cross Catholic Media Network

I am very disappointed with this change with most of your programing especially not airing Kresta in the afternoon at 4:00 pm!! Sometimes change is not GOOD! I have been listening to WNEB Emmanual Radio 1230 Worcester MA for many years and am very shocked! I have experienced a work merger myself and that was not a good experience in my life! May God help me to find a better option as I know He will, Good Luck!

I will echo zach’s comments. I too enjoy Al Kresta’ but I have found Fr. Robert McTeague to be every bit as interesting as Al, and that says a lot!
Also , the Catholic Frive time show in the mornings is awesome! Jesus 911 and the Terry and Jesse show are also good. Station of the Cross programming is every bit as good as what is being offered on Ave Maria, and on EWTN shortwave

Peter, I am also a long time Emmanuel Radio listener/supporter. My (new to me) car doesn’t receive am radio signals. I found that I can stream the EWTN radio program to my car radio. The only things I didn’t get from Emmanuel were the local content. So I can still enjoy Sonrise in the morning and Al Kresta in the afternoon. At home I am giving Station of the Cross on the radio. My husband often listens to 1060 am (Also Station of the Cross out of Boston) He looks forward to Mother Miriam at 10 am when he is out and about in the car at that time.
      I hope this is helpful,

Welcome to Worcester! As part of your arrival here, would you be interested in introducing your station to as many as 1000 local Catholic men at the In-Person Worcester Diocesan Catholic Mens Conference being held at Assumption University on Saturday, April 2, 2022?

Beautiful and thoughtful in spreading God’s love for us and encouraging us by example in helping explain or teach His message to us.
