This Week on The Catholic Current: “Who Am I to Judge,” “Cryopreserved Embryos: In Search of a Moral Solution to an Absurd Fate,” and more!

Dear Friends,

I am Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., host and producer of The Catholic Current. This week, we’re excited to welcome new guests to talk to us about models for holiness, current events, and pressing issues. Join us as we plug into the power of Jesus Christ and His Catholic Church, proclaiming His Kingship of Love, so that all may come to the fullness of Truth.

On Monday, we begin the week with Catholic writer Suzanne Pearson and discuss the last emperor of Austria with “’Now We Must Get Each Other to Heaven’: The Life and Legacy of Blessed Karl.” Tuesday’s guest is Texan engineer and writer Ray Ranzau, he’ll talk to us about “’Who Am I To Judge?’ Dismantling Popular ‘Gotcha’ Statements.” On Wednesday, I’m joined by fellow Jesuit Fr. Bart Geger, as we speak on our founder, “Ignatius of Loyola: The Soldier Saint for Our Time.” Thursday’s guest is a diocesan priest from St. Louis, Missouri, Fr. Peter Fonseca who will talk to us about “Cryopreserved Embryos: In Search of a Moral Solution to an Absurd Fate.” On Friday, we’ll welcome His Excellency, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco, for an update on “What’s Going On in California?”

“Great is the truth and it will prevail!” Help us hand on the truth we have received, that it may prevail despite the many attacks it faces today, as we await the return of Him Who is the “Way, the Truth and the Life.”
