This Week on The Catholic Current: Protestantism, Sexual Orientation Changes, Ways to Love God—and what Islam thinks of the Virgin Mary!

Hello Friends,

I’m Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., host and producer of The Catholic Current. Autumn has begun and we are getting ready for the big changes that are coming.   This week we’ll be joined by guests you need to hear from!

On Monday, we’ll meet Fr. Ladis Cizik to discuss, “Our Lady and Islam.”  Tuesday’s guest, Dr. Wojciech Golonka will enlighten us on “Protestantism As Seen by G. K. Chesterton.” On Wednesday, we’ll welcome Peter Sprigg, as he warns of the dangers of “Sexual Orientation Change Efforts.” Thursday’s guest is former nurse, Claire Couche to tell us about her intriguing initiative, “Finding Philothea.”  On Friday, we’ll welcome a returning guest, George Weigel, to discuss “The Church and Modernity” and author, Jeanette Flood, who will discuss “Eight Ways of Loving God.”

Our rallying cry here at The Catholic Current is “Bringing Christ to the World, and the World to Christ!” It is the mission given by Christ to the  Apostles on the day of his Ascension, passed on through generations, and now left in the hands of you and I, the faithful. What will we do with it?
