THIS WEEK ON THE CATHOLIC CURRENT: Peter Kreeft talks about Heaven and Hell; we search for disappearing families and vocations, and more!

I’m Father Robert McTeigue, S.J., and I am delighted to be the host and producer of The Catholic Current, where we apply timeless truths to timely topics.  We’re starting 2019 strong, bringing to our listeners renowned speakers and hidden gems you’ll be glad to discover!    We work hard to ensure that our listeners can face the new year with confidence.  On Monday, we’ll talk with Dr. Joseph Shaw of Oxford University and ask, “Whatever happened to the lay vocation?”  On Tuesday, we’ll meet Michael Hermon (co-founder of “The Messy Family”), and ask him, “Is family life on the way out?”  Wednesday’s program will be especially valuable for listeners and their families who are thinking about going to college.  We’ll talk with author Aurora Griffin about her book, “How I Stayed Catholic at Harvard.”    Thursday guest will be Leo Clarke, an author who has a surprising answer to the question, “Must Catholics reject capitalism?”  Put Friday’s program on your calendar!  We will welcome back legendary Catholic philosopher Dr. Peter Kreeft, who will talk to us about what lies between Heaven and Hell.    In this time of conflict and rapid change, The Catholic Current brings clarity and charity to help us find light in the darkness.  Join us!
