I am Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., your daily host, as well as producer, at The Catholic Current, where we bring Christ to the world and the world to Christ!
This Sunday we close out the Easter season, celebrating the solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Jesus told us that when the Spirit of Truth would come, He would guide us “to all truth.” Let’s continue to hear and share that truth together on The Catholic Current, declaring “the things that are coming.”
On Monday we will begin with an important discussion of “Faith, Science and Fertility” with Fr. Tadeusz (Tad) Pacholczyk, PhD, of the National Catholic Bioethics Center. On Tuesday, we welcome back writer, speaker and TV host Lisa Mladinich and speak about “How to Have a Happy Marriage and Help Save the World.” Bishop Michael Olson of the Diocese of Forth Worth joins us again on Wednesday in examining “What Happened at the Bishops’ Meeting in Baltimore?” last week. Thursday will see Nayeli Riano come on to talk about “The Not-So-Secret War against Catholics.” On Friday, we finish our week with first-time guest, Fr. Francis Bethel, O.S.B. of Clear Creek Abbey. Fr. Bethel will speak with us about “Love Is As Strong As Death: The Legacy of Dr. John Senior.”
We are called to an ever-greater knowledge and participation in the love, truth and mission of the Most Holy Trinity. Together, we all have to do our part as focused and formed children of our Triune God, bringing as many souls as possible to a share in Their incredible reality. Join us at The Catholic Current this week, as we prepare now, in time, for glory in Eternity.
