This Week on The Catholic Current: Baltimore Catechism, Advent, the Miraculous Medal and more!

Hello Friends,

I’m Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., host and producer of The Catholic Current.

This week we’ll be joined by guests you need to hear from!

On Monday, we will welcome Matthew Plese to revisit our Catholic formation as he helps us go, “Back to Basics: Baltimore Catechism on the Web.” On Tuesday, we’ll discuss “The Four Last Things” with Fr. Wade Menezes of the Fathers of Mercy and prepare for “The Advent of Christmas” with Fr. Paul McDonald of the Diocese of Saint Catherine’s in Ontario, Canada. On Wednesday, we will welcome Fr. Matthias M. Sasko, FI, who will tell us about “Mary, the Miraculous Medal and St. Maximilian Kolbe.” On Thursday, we will revisit an early show on The Catholic Current with Fr. Philip Bochanski who helped us address the question, “Does the Church Hate Homosexuals?” On Friday, we have a two-part show with sacred music composer, Frank La Rocca, who will speak to us about his most recent composition, “The Mass of the Americas,” and Bree Dail, who will help us in “Deciphering Catholic Media.

Our rallying cry here at The Catholic Current is “Bringing Christ to the World, and the World to Christ!” It is the mission given by Christ to the Apostles on the day of his Ascension, passed on through generations, and now left in the hands of you and me, the faithful. What shall we do with it?
