I am Fr. Robert McTeigue, Jesuit priest as well as producer and host of The Catholic Current. Have you been aware of the color green, more than usual, lately? In our churches, the Tabernacle is veiled, and the priest vests in green, during this post-Pentecost season. Outside, greenery is everywhere in the midst of hot summer. Green is the color of hope; as we continue our journey in time toward Eternity, we should be full of hope. We all need it, and this week on The Catholic Current, you can have it!
Monday’s episode is a requested encore, and we revisit “New Mass or Old Mass? What Difference Does It Make?” with Fr. Donald Kloster. On Tuesday, Fr. Ladis Cizik, a diocesan priest, joins us for the first time, to explain “Garment of Grace: Our Sign, Privilege, and Protection.” On Wednesday, British viscount and writer Lord Christopher Monckton will speak with us on “Reclaiming the Church Militant.” On Thursday another first-time guest, Dr. Jennifer Nolan, talks to us about: “Who Needs a Catholic Polytechnic University? We Do!” On Friday, we end the week with Jason Craig, as he introduces to us to an important and timely mission, with “Stand Firm, Do Manfully” The Restoration of Catholic Manhood
Join us for this exciting week with guests old and new, who will not only to talk with us, but offer us renewed hope amid troubling uncertainty; a hope made possible by the Death and Resurrection of Christ the King, and always available to us. I’m looking forward to continuing our journey of hope, together, this week on The Catholic Current!
