Submit an Event
Many of the events that Catholic parishes, schools and organizations have submitted to our Station of the Cross Community Calendar are being cancelled out of concern for the spread of the coronavirus. It is impossible for us to announce all of these cancellations over the air in a timely fashion, and we do not want to broadcast outdated or erroneous information.
At this time, we will accept new submissions of both online and in-person events which follow all state and local COVID-19 regulations. Per our normal policy, we cannot announce regular Mass schedules and the like. We still ask that submissions are made at least THREE WEEKS in advance, and we request that The Station of the Cross is mentioned on any online forum or event that we assist in promoting.
We urge our good listeners: if you heard an event announced on the air or saw an event posted on our online community calendar that you are interested in, please check with the event organizer about the latest status of the event and for any COVID-19 guidelines you may be asked to abide by for their event. Thank you for your understanding. Meanwhile, we pray for all those affected by the coronavirus and for the protection of all our families and communities in this time of trial.
The Station of the Cross Community Calendar is a free resource to help promote Catholic events throughout the dioceses we serve. We ask that submissions be made at least THREE WEEKS prior to the event. Requests placed after the three-week deadline may not be able to be posted or broadcast on the air, due to time constraints. We also ask that your parish or organization display materials that promote The Station of the Cross at your church or event in exchange for this free promotional service. These materials will be shipped to the address you provide us at no cost to you.
Due to limited space, we can only consider events that provide Catholic edification or education or are fundraisers for Catholic organizations. All events go through a review process to ensure this criterion is met.
If approved, the event is placed on our online calendar generally within one week after receipt of the submission, and is broadcast on the air during the two weeks preceding the event. The event may be broadcast sooner than the two-week window when there is available air time. On-air announcements may be edited for time.
