Queen of Heaven, Mary’s Battle for You – Group Study

Blessed Sacrament Parish at 263 Claremont in Tonawanda is offering a Book group study, from St. Benedict’s Press, Queen of Heaven, Mary’s Battle for You.

Come join in this very exciting program that begins before the dawn of time, when Mary was only an eternal thought in the mind of God, and extends into today. Just as Christ lives on through His Church, Mary lives on as the Mother of the Church. In a battle between the Angel who said No, and the woman who said Yes, you will see your mother intervening at pivotal periods in history to draw us back to her Son, including at her most well-known apparitions. This part of the program is hosted by acclaimed Catholic actor Leonardo
Defilippis, with over a dozen great minds of the Church. Part II is hosted by Fr. Patrick Winslow, who gives a short pastoral talk on what it means to have Mary as your mother and the many ways you can nurture your relationship with her in your everyday life. Queen of Heaven was filmed on location at over a dozen locations, including the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land, the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, the World Apostolate of Fatima Shrine, and more.

The first session begins in the Parish Center on Thursday evening, February 21, runs eight consecutive weeks, and concludes on April 11. Sessions will go from 7 – 8:30 pm.
