Human Fertility and Current Controversies (Fr. Tadeusz Pacholczyk)

Fr. Tadeusz Pacholczyk is Senior Ethicist at The National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia. He earned his doctorate in neuroscience from Yale and did postdoctoral work at Harvard. He has taught bioethics classes in seminaries throughout the country, as well as at the University of Mary in ND. Check out his nationally syndicated monthly newspaper column on bioethics called Making Sense of Bioethics.

Kathleen Carr is the President and founder of the Catholic Art Institute, a non-profit arts organization working to restore a culture of truth, beauty, and goodness. She is an award-winning, classically trained painter, illustrator, and designer. She holds a BFA from the Maryland Institute College and has taught in the undergraduate program at the Corcoran College of Art in Washington DC.

Motherhood and Human Dignity (Dr. Catherine Pakaluk)

Dr. Catherine Pakaluk is Director of Social Research and Assistant Professor of Economics at The Busch School of Business and Economics at The Catholic University of America. She is a widely-admired writer and sought-after speaker on matters of culture, gender, social science, the vocation of women, and the work of Edith Stein. Her most recent book, Hannah’s Children: The Women Quietly Defying the Birth Dearth is published by Regnery. She lives in Maryland with her husband Michael and eight children.

Leila Lawler is a wife of one, mother of seven, and grandmother of four (and counting), living in central Massachusetts. She is a convert to Catholicism, and practices “kitchen-sink philosophy” at “Like Mother, Like Daughter,” a website offering practical and theoretical insight into all aspects of daily life. Her three-volume work, The Summa Domestica: Order and Wonder in Family Life, is published by Sophia Institute Press.
