Family Mental Health in Crisis (Kerin Foley/Luciana Milano)
Kerin Foley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 9 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. Kerin has worked with children and their families on addressing behavior issues and being involved with DCF. She has worked with adolescents that are in the juvenile justice system, adults experiencing physical and mental health difficulties, and the elderly and their families as they adjust to the changes that occur with aging. Using a combination of Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques, Kerin creates a warm environment where clients can feel comfortable and motivated to begin working towards their goals. Kerin has been married for seven years. She and her husband have a 3 year old son and are expecting another child in the Fall.
Luciana Milano is a Special Advisor to the Office for Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services. Prior to joining the Department, Ms. Milano served as a judicial law clerk in the Northern District of Texas. She received her bachelors of arts, cum laude, in Government from Harvard University and her law degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
