Fraternus Buffalo – Recruitment Evening
September 13 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Wednesday, repeating until September 27, 2017
What is Fraternus?
Deeply rooted in virtue, FRATERNUS seeks to build a brotherhood of relationships deeply rich in the Catholic Faith. Boys ages 10-18 are led in formation by Catholic men who are registered captains who have committed to living their lives in a virtuous manner through regular prayer, participation in the sacraments, and volunteering of their time to mentor young boys in Catholic discipleship.
As a father OR a concerned Catholic man do you have a desire to become a Fraternus Captain and mentor young men and boys?
Have you ever considered taking a more deliberate approach to passing-on and teaching the Catholic faith to your sons? The facts are scary – statistically about 8 in 10 Catholic boys will leave the Church by college. Many never return.
Nonetheless, our parishes have exactly what is needed to keep boys Catholic – Men. The presence of intentional mentors in the lives of young men is known to have a profound and lasting effect. From their youngest years boys imitate what they see in men around them — and when virtue is present – they imitate it.
If you believe you may be called to this ministry – bring your sons and join us on any of our recruitment evenings September 6, 13th 20th or 27th at Christ the King Seminary to learn how you can become an effective mentor to your sons. Visit us on Facebook at FraternusBuffalo. Any questions or to pre-register write to firstname.lastname@example.org
