Beautiful Lives (Lori Kelly/Abby Johnson)
Lori Kelly was at the top of her career when she was hired in April of 2016 Lori as Project Manager of the Health Sciences Tissue Bank (HSTB) at the University of Pittsburgh. In this role, Lori became aware of a major undertaking by the University to become the “tissue bank hub” for fetal tissue obtained through abortions performed at Magee Women’s Hospital. These tissues would be used for research by universities all across the country participating in the GUDMAP Consortium. This project is funded by the federal government through a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH). When Lori’s conscience wouldn’t let her participate in the procurement and disbursement of “baby body parts,” she quit her job and came to ATTWN for help. Now a whistleblower, Lori is not afraid to speak about the dirty science and the truth surrounding the issue of fetal body parts.
Abby Johnson has always been fiercely determined to help women in need. This desire is what led Abby to a career with Planned Parenthood, our nation’s largest abortion provider, and caused her to flee the organization, becoming an outspoken advocate for the pro-life movement.
