We will be hosting one of our most remarkable Special Guest Speakers ever, Obianuju Ekeocha, the Founder and President of Culture of Life Africa. Uju, as she is known, was born in Nigeria, where she received a bachelors degree in microbiology. She moved to England in 2006, where she earned a masters degree in biomedical science and now works as a biomedical researcher in hematology.

Uju’s dedication to the pro-life cause has led her to become a leading international spokesperson in opposition to ongoing efforts by the governments of various western nations, by wealthy philanthropic foundations, and by the United Nations to impose abortion on demand and population control on the people of Africa – people, Uju says, whose cultures do not even have words to express such an idea as a mother killing the child in her womb.

Uju has organized and facilitated major pro-life conferences and March for Life rallies in Africa. She advises many African members of Parliament, African United Nations delegates, ambassadors and other decision makers on pro-life and pro-family issues. She has worked closely with many African religious leaders to promote pro-life values in various countries. She has co-authored pro-life declarations with various African Catholic bishops conferences defending pro-life values in Africa.

Uju is also the author of TARGET AFRICA, a book which describes the damage being done to the nations of Africa by what she calls the new colonialism and cultural imperialism of the wealthy, but morally degraded, “first world” nations. She will be available to autograph copies of her book immediately following the event.

The Pro-Life Breakfast is sponsored by People for Life, a local affiliate of the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation and National Right to Life. People for Life has been a leading “voice for life” in Erie, PA since 1975.
