    Finding Great Books (Dr. Kent Lasnoski)

    Dr. Kent Lasnoski grew up in Wisconsin, before attending  Marquette University where he studied the theology of marriage and sexual ethics, especially in the thought of Augustine, Aquinas, Alphonsus Liguori, John Paul II, and Catholic social teaching. After earning his doctorate in 2011, Dr. Lasnoski taught moral theology as Assistant Professor at Quincy University until his move to Wyoming Catholic College in 2015, where he teaches theology and philosophy, and a practicum on marriage and consecrated life. Dr. Lasnoski is a founding board member and Associate Editor of the Catholic literary and arts journal Dappled Things, serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Moral Theology and is the Editor of the Proceedings of the Catholic Theological Society of America. He has published a monograph on marriage and consecrated life (Vocation to Virtue: Christian Marriage as a Consecrated Life), and together with his wife designs and participates in diocesan programs of marriage preparation and formation. If he is not in the classroom, you might find him playing soccer or ultimate frisbee with the students or hiking and biking with his wife and children.

    Joe and Karen Ralabate are Weekend Presenters and are actively on the Board of Retrouvaille-Buffalo, a Christian Peer Ministry for Troubled Marriages. They are now married for 35 years and came to Retrouvaille-Buffalo when their own marriage hit rock bottom, making a weekend in January of 2012. They are now dedicated to helping other married couples struggling with the pain and heartache of a troubled marriage, just as others helped them.

    Dr. Donald DeMarco is a Senior Fellow of Human Life International. Doctor DeMarco is a member of the Pontifical Academy for Life and he is Professor Emeritus at St. Jerome’s University in Waterloo, Ontario, and an adjunct professor at Holy Apostles College & Seminary in Cromwell, CT. He is the author of 22 books. He is married to Mary Arendt DeMarco and they have five children.

    Kellyanne Conway is a pollster and political consultant who was the 2016 campaign manager for President Donald Trump and is currently serving as a counselor to the president. She graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1985, and then attended Trinity College in Washington, D.C., earning a degree in political science. She went on to earn her law degree at George Washington University Law School.
