    Martial Artist and Diocesan Safe Environment Trainer, Su Laing

    Su Laing is a wife and mother to 2 girls under 12. She lives with her family in Washington State. She is an art teacher, a volunteer and Safe Environment Instructor for the Diocese of Seattle. Growing up reading comic books and watching Kung Fu movies lead Su to have a deep interest in the martial arts. She then dedicated herself to learning traditional Chinese Kung Fu and more recently, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Having experienced violence in her own life, she focused her passion towards teaching self-defense to women and children and has lectured nationally for almost 2 decades. She is a member of the American Women’s Self Defense Association.

    Su is also an advocate for shooting sports and is the Vice President of a shooting sports facility and heads the Western Washington Range Alliance.  (She is also Father McTeigue’s sister!)

He has written for various publications and spoken at many conferences. He has a particular interest in the life, ministry and papacy of Pope Saint Pius X and his fight against the heresy of modernism.

    A Thomistic theologian, liturgical scholar, and choral composer, Dr. Peter Kwasniewski is a graduate of Thomas Aquinas College and Catholic University of America. He has taught at the International Theological Institute in Austria, the Franciscan University of Steubenville’s Austria Program, and Wyoming Catholic College, which he helped establish in 2006.
