This Week on The Catholic Current: A visit to The Shrine of Our Lady of Akita, Clerical Celibacy, The Latest in Natural Family Planning, Coaching for Christ, and Why Celibacy Matters.

Hello Friends,

I’m Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J., host and producer of The Catholic Current.

This week we’ll be joined by guests you need to hear from!

On Monday, we’ll talk with Fr. Paul McDonald to discuss Our Lady at Akita. Tuesday’s guest, Fr. Joseph Fessio, S.J., will help us “Make a Case for Clerical Celibacy.” On Wednesday, we’ll welcome Suzy Younger, from St Joseph Fertility Care to explore “What’s New in Family Planning.” Thursday’s guest is Fr. John Hollowell to tell us about Coaching for Christ. On Friday, we’ll welcome Fr. Carter Griffin, to ask the question, “Why Celibacy?

Our rallying cry here at The Catholic Current is “Bringing Christ to the World, and the World to Christ!” It is the mission given by Christ to the Apostles on the day of his Ascension, passed on through generations, and now left in the hands of you and me, the faithful. What shall  we do with it?
